We are absolutely thrilled to share that our very own Millie has been shortlisted for the Community Impact Award at the Sunderland University Apprenticeship Awards! 🎉
Millie’s journey with Nuvo Wellbeing is nothing short of inspiring. She first stepped through our doors at just seven years old as a dance participant, and her passion for movement, wellbeing, and community has only grown since. Even during her time in Sixth Form studying Sport, she continued to support Nuvo by volunteering—demonstrating her dedication to helping others thrive through dance and fitness.
Fast forward to today, and Millie has not only successfully completed her 18-month apprenticeship in Business Administration but has also been promoted to Project Administrator! In her role, she brings energy and enthusiasm to every class she delivers, leading dance and wellbeing sessions in community and care settings. If you’ve attended one of our sessions, you’ve likely seen her in action—spreading joy, movement, and positivity wherever she goes.
Millie is a true testament to the impact Nuvo can have on young people’s opportunities and development. Her journey from participant to valued team member showcases the power of passion, commitment, and continuous growth. Her hard work and dedication are evident in everything she does, and this well-deserved recognition highlights just how much of a difference she is making in our communities.
Join us in celebrating Millie’s incredible achievement—good luck at the awards, we are so proud of you! 💙👏
