Accessible dance programmes for adults with learning disabilities

Our Adult Learning Disability Programmes are designed to cater to the unique needs of adults with learning disabilities while promote increased physical activity, enhance overall wellbeing and boosted self-esteem. Tailored to accommodate all ability levels, our range of class styles includes Seated Dance, Dancercise, and Musical Theatre sessions.

We have a track record of successful partnerships, including commissioning Public Health to rolled out weekly dance and wellbeing sessions for 60 people with learning disabilities in County Durham over 12 months. This initiative aimed not only to enhance physical activity participation but also to underscore the significance of attending health screenings and GP appointments.

We are proud to have established ongoing partnerships with esteemed organisations such as Ethicare, Mencap, and Barchester Healthcare. These collaborations are a testament to our commitment to providing quality services in the realm of adult disability programmes.

Dementia Friendly: Care Home Sessions

We offer care homes Seated Dance, Seated Exercise and Physical Activity Games sessions to increase mobility, coordination and health. These enjoyable musical sessions includes a range of gentle exercise and routines without leaving your chair! A vibrant mix of dance and exercise styles to suit all abilities and tastes.

Specialist Physical Activity Sessions

We provide a range of dance fitness sessions for a wide range long term medical conditions, disabilities or specialist needs.

We have worked with and continue to work with organisations including: Parkinson’s UK, Stroke Association, Alzheimer’s Society, Age UK, Teesside Dementia Action, NE Youth.

Bump to Buggy: Postnatal Fitness Programme

Our Bump to Buggy Postnatal Fitness Programmes are designed to help new mothers regain strength, confidence, and overall wellbeing after childbirth. With a focus on gentle exercises tailored to the unique needs of postnatal bodies, our sessions provide a safe, supportive space for parents to rebuild their fitness at their own pace.

Led by experienced instructors, these classes combine core strengthening, pelvic floor exercises, yoga and full-body workouts to promote recovery, boost energy levels, and improve mental health. We also offer a welcoming environment where parents can connect with others, share experiences, and feel empowered in their postnatal journey.
