Step Up Get Down for Red Nose Day!

Nouveau Wellbeing has been participating in Fitbit’s Red Nose Day Campaign #StepUpGetDown. Through the campaign Fitbit are donating money to Comic Relief for every dance video uploaded to their social media. Pelton Community Centre in Chester-le-Street and Neville Parade Group in Newton Aycliffe are just a few of our classes that are getting involved by adding red noses and fancy dress to the fun! You can too! All you need to do is record a 15 second clip of you dancing and upload it to either the FitbitUKIreland Facebook page or your own Twitter or Instagram account including the hashtag #StepUpGetDown.
Fitbit states;
Dance is a great way to get fit, have fun and add a few extra steps to your day. So we created the #StepUpGetDown dance challenge for Red Nose Day. Jin today and be part of something that will not only make you feel good but will make a real difference to people living incredibly tough lives.

Comic relief website explains why fundraising is so important;

We fund more than 2,000 projects, throughout the UK, addressing a range of issues, from homelessness and mental health to dementia and vulnerable young people.

There are some incredible projects, in the UK and Africa, that have found effective ways to tackle poverty and injustice. Your money means we can choose the best and then fund them.
